A pioneering autonomous robot is set to help farmers monitor the health status of individual crop plants in order to help reduce herbicide application. Experts from the National Robotarium will use Small Robot Company’s Tom v4 to remotely scan fields to identify, locate and log individual weeds and crop plants.
