Beef and Lamb New Zealand, Federated Farmers and DairyNZ have been working with a team of climate scientists led by Professor Myles Allen from Oxford University, to inform a submission to the Climate Change Commission on New Zealand’s methane targets.
Global understanding of climate science and the role of different greenhouse gases has evolved significantly since New Zealand’s targets were set in 2019.
