Clarence Court Eggs has today announced a long-term partnership with The Royal Countryside Fund, the only UK-wide charity empowering family farms and rural communities to ensure their future by providing access to immediate, local and practical support as well as a path to a sustainable future.
The partnership will run for five years and provide vital backing to the many farming and rural communities The Royal Countryside Fund supports across the UK.
Clarence Court, which has been caring for its pedigree hens for over 90 years, has a long history at the heart of British farming with the health and welfare of both its hens and farmers central to its philosophy.
A percentage of each pack of Clarence Court eggs sold will be donated to the charity to support a broad range of initiatives including the Farm Resilience Programme, which offers free business skills training to family farmers across the UK.
Adrian Gott, CEO of Clarence Court, said, “We take our role in British farming very seriously and are constantly looking at ways in which we can further support our farmers and expand on our commitment to the farming community and the environment. Earlier this year we launched a first of its kind insurance policy with the NFU to protect farmers against Avian Influenza, we’re also in the final preparation stages to allow the introduction of the Stonegate Pullet Finance Scheme to assist farmers further.
