FA Bio, the revolutionary agriculture microbial discovery and development company, has announced the appointment of experienced agriculture and biotechnology leader, Toni Bucci, as Chair of its Board of Directors.
With more than 30 years of experience leading successful agricultural and biotechnology companies, Toni will oversee the strategic growth and help commercialise FA Bio’s innovative solutions aimed at addressing global agricultural challenges.
Bucci is well-known for her successful leadership of entrepreneurial agricultural technology companies. She founded and is currently CEO of Sable Fermentation, Inc., a food and ag scale up fermentation company. Bucci also co-founded ActiveCross, LLC in 2023, and formerly served as Chief Operating Officer at AgBiome, Inc. Prior to her start up experience, Bucci spent 23 years at BASF where she was responsible for the research, development and commercialisation of new fungicides and insecticides as well as business development. Bucci is a renowned mentor and industry consultant, supporting agriculture and biotechnology companies through her position as Counsel Chair at the North Carolina Ag Tech Council and her company, Riggin Consulting, LLC.
